Pros
Flexible working options to an extent, providing deadlines are met and clients are happy. Some really great clients and opportunities. Abundance of comprehensive templates, resources and knowledge from other teams and areas of the business.
Cons
Loss of what once was a great working culture. Too many levels of management, with broken communication between management and teams. Micromanagement and misuse of authority. Lower than national average salaries. Limited support, career progression and opportunities. Less freedom to self learn and be innovative. High stress and unrealistic workloads, with a lot of burn out. Decline in work-life balance. Issues raised with higher management are felt all they way through the teams. No more healthy bonuses or pay rises. Overtime, late nights and weekends (which is frequent) are not rewarded and instead expected. False social media pretence, highlighting benefits and happy employees at face value, while not actually addressing concerns that are raised repeatedly behind the scenes.
