Pros

Remote First, pays on time, similarly minded coworkers

Cons

Low pay. No overtime. Changing shifts. Proprietary tech (not directly transferrable) Below inflation raises (pay cuts) Layoffs Little transparency or honesty from upper and middle management. No relationship with upper or middle management. "Caring Company" from the outside, zero contact and very little benefits on the interior. Offensive severance package. Currently (YE 2023) in upheaval due to acquisition of a larger company, likely outsourcing current positions to lower-paying markets to cut corners. Overinflated and overpaid sales team. No regard or respect for the people that create the value for the company.

Thank you for taking the time to review CyberMaxx. We appreciate your feedback and would like to use this opportunity to address your pros and cons. First, thank you for acknowledging the great benefit of being a remote-first workplace. We know many people appreciate the ability to work from a home office and this practice has worked well for CyberMaxx. It is not clear how long you worked for CyberMaxx during the year 2023 but classifying the year as one that felt like upheaval is understandable. The company started the year as two separate organizations blending into one. Despite being a year of big changes, the company did take its level of service – especially in the SOC – very seriously. We know this is the front line of defense for our clients, so much so that we did not reduce headcount in the SOC as other merging companies would likely do. Now as one combined company, we are excited for the upcoming year – we are fully engaged with our internal team and our clients to prepare for a year of growth. CyberMaxx values excellence in job performance and has created base pay, incentive pay, bonus and benefit programs that support a high-performance culture. Our Executive Team has demonstrated a dedication to an honest and authentic communication strategy so every employee can ask questions and seek to understand the reasoning behind the business decisions that are made. It seems that this was not the experience you had, however it is the culture that has emerged out of the combination of the two companies. For anyone who is currently on our team or is thinking about joining our team I can only offer that you must step forward and ask questions. Seek out the opportunities you wish to pursue and openly communicate with leadership. The CyberMaxx team is fully committed to our mission of providing the best possible security solutions for our clients and a culture that allows our employees to have impact and grow.
