Pros
My internship at CyberNow Labs as a Systems and Data Specialist gave me valuable hands-on experience working with real systems and datasets, allowing me to strengthen my technical skills in areas like data analysis and IT operations. I had the opportunity to collaborate with a team, which improved my communication and teamwork abilities, and I gained a better understanding of how data plays a role in cybersecurity. While the internship had some challenges, like a steep learning curve and limited access to more advanced responsibilities, it was a strong stepping stone that gave me a clearer direction for my career in tech.
Cons
Some cons of my internship at CyberNow Labs included limited access to advanced tools and platforms, which made it harder to gain deeper, hands-on experience with enterprise-level systems. The training was sometimes fast-paced, so it was challenging to fully absorb certain concepts before moving on to the next topic. Additionally, since much of the internship was remote, there were fewer opportunities for in-person mentorship or networking, which can be valuable when starting out in the tech field. Despite these challenges, the experience overall was still a meaningful stepping stone in my growth.
