Pros

Opportunities to learn all kinds of new Microsoft ecosystem technologies. The pay rate was excellent for my experience level.

Cons

I joined Cyclotron and was immediately required to work 12 days on/2 days off out of each 2 week period for 4 months. No bonus or additional compensation was offered. In addition, I was put in charge of 5 projects simultaneously without sufficient support. The company is overselling their capabilities and trying to make it up as they go along. Any requests for support or resources are completely ignored by management - in my case, the C Suite used it as an excuse to berate my manager for misusing resources in a historical issue instead of focusing on resolving the issues at hand. My typical day involved meetings with clients all during business hours, then working on the projects for a few hours, and having to be online late at night (10pm and later) to support the offshore team, and then back online at 8am the next day to do it all over again. Do not be fooled by "unlimited PTO" - you can take off any time off you want so long as you "complete all your deliverables", which is impossible in 40 or even 50 hours a week. The stress was so bad I had to leave my position due to medical issues.

Pros

People can learn a lot in their first few years. Coworkers are super friendly, some opportunities to socialize but not a lot of in person. Being fully remote and never having to go to an office is game changing. 401k match is good.

Cons

Fast paced, can be a lot to keep up with at times. Rapidly expanding company with the usual growing pains.

Pros

The company has the potential to have a really cool product and engagement. They offer very reasonable salaries!

Cons

I couldn't in good conscience recommend this role to anyone seeking stability in their career development. As many other reviews pointed out it is an unorganized company. Upon being hired I was told there would be an onboarding process that never happened, and maybe never existed. my teammates were constantly scrambling to figure out expectations, reschedule meetings due to double and triple bookings, and interpret vague requests from the director. The director I worked under was erratic, from vague last minute request ...i.e requests being sent after work hours (9-10pm) to hostility towards myself and various different team members. This made for a stressful uncertain workplace. I was fired at the end of my tenure without cause and both the director and HR refused to provide me any feedback and there was no severance. This was unfortunate.
