Pros
I liked most of my coworkers, and we had fun times. I loved seeing all the products and helping people find what they needed. The job was very chill for the most part.
Cons
There was only one store manager and no other store leads. She was a people pleaser; however, she also would talk badly about other employees and reveal confidential medical information about one. We were always understaffed. For my case, she made me believe I would be hired after my probation period and would train me for a higher position. I was young and was not aware of the mistakes I was making. She never brought them to my attention when they were occurring. She only informed me in a meeting that I would not be hired past my probation period. I admit I was immature, but the environment fueled that immaturity. I have always been the person who, if I am causing a problem and it's brought to my attention, I will do my best to fix it, but I was not given that chance. She also emailed all the store employees, calling me a liar. There was no communication, and it made the environment hostile.
