Many thanks for your review. To address the issues listed above, the management at DBD has now completely changed, the previous management is no longer within the business and we're headed up by three new directors following a recent acquisition.
Through speaking to our HR manager and senior management, the feedback we are getting from employees is really great. Our main priority is to ensure that all members of the team are prospering and progressing, regardless of their seniority or age. We do this by sitting down with everyone individually and discussing their career goals both long term and short term, as well as their general interests outside of work and what motivates them.
The company directors now have 1-on-1's with all team member's once a week where everyone can be completely open and talk about any issues they may be having. On a day-to-day basis, the company directors also sit amongst the teams, as opposed to in separate offices, so that there are no hierarchies and everybody feels involved. Any issues addressed to HR are dealt with seriously and professionally to ensure people are happy in their work.
The agency which has now acquired DBD has an extremely low staff turnover rate (30% lower than the UK national average for agencies) which we're confident will soon be the case at DBD.
We're also pleased to say we're moving to a brand new office, designed especially for us, in East London in January... so no more cold winters/hot summers! Wishing you all the very best for the future!
