The firm is a very welcoming place to work with truly caring colleagues who offer both personal and professional support and has an impressive commitment to its people and the community. Opportunity for advancement is a key aspect of the firm's culture and is likely quicker / better than at larger firms. Firm leadership takes action to keep the practice informed with transparent updates on important policy or strategy changes and is committed to fairness in decision making. The firm is on a continued growth trajectory, and is investing in new technologies and training, including AI. Whether a new associate, an experienced lateral or senior of counsel, DBL Law is a great place to start or continue a career.

The firm offers strong compensation and benefits and continues to adjust compensation and benefits to meet the market. It is not at the level of the largest firms, but taken together with the positive culture, community focus, and work-life balance this should be a net neutral or better other than for those simply seeking the highest comp.
