Pros
Consulting is not for everyone, but for people who enjoy variety and adapting to changing environments, DLC is perfect. Here are some of my favorite things from working at DLC -Great support from management -Competitive pay and bonus structure (overtime, bonus for new business and contract extensions) -Great benefits -Work is rewarded and complimented (gift cards, gifts mailed to residence) -Meaningful work for a large pool of clientele to choose from -Flexibility with scheduling -Flexibility to work from home if desired -Autonomy to work on clients, DLC trusts their consultants but is there to provide guidance if you reach out -Opportunities to grow and find new things to work on
Cons
The only con I've experienced from working at DLC for the past 2 years has been something that is generally out of DLC's control. Depending on the client, work can be stressful and require lots of overtime. However, the conditions are always communicated to me when a new client is presented, so I am voluntarily choosing to work on a challenging client. The overtime pay helps quite a bit!
