Pros
Everyone is nice and willing to share their extensive knowledge. DLC supports all consultants with vast and up-to-date training, direct interaction with the executive team, pay while on the bench, many bonus opportunities, overtime pay, and great health benefits. Plus, all of my clients have been wonderful so far, and I continue to learn while supporting them on interesting projects. DLC has been great at helping find new projects and ensuring that I'm a good fit for the needs of the client.
Cons
Consulting is different than an internal corporate role - you do need to be flexible with timing/jumping onto new, challenging assignments. However, that's also the beauty of consulting - you won't be bored with doing the same thing over and over and continuously learn. The only "con" for DLC is true at every other U.S. company - not enough holiday/vacation days and costly health benefits.
