Pros
You'll have a lot of chances to work on interesting projects, and traveling is pretty fun. Everyone is pretty receptive to teaching people new things, and they're all very friendly.
Cons
Keeping legacy compatibility feels like barrier to newer things. Your responsibilities are also not centered purely on engineering. If you don't feel comfortable talking to clients and managers on a near daily basis, you're not going to enjoy this job. The entire company is super conservative, can be a pro or con depending on the person.
