Pros

Opportunity to travel when in the higher stages Good excerise Ability to rise quickly

Cons

No benefits Takes advantage of younger applicants, required to become a sole trader (ABN required) and have your own insurances Secretive about the work you are going to be doing while in the interview process - essentially a door to door salesperson Rude employees, high expectations One mindset you are expected to follow Uncertainty, can be let go at any time without notice as technically you employ yourself and they contract yor services Big risk with not enough return Long work hours, 6 days a week, 10am-7pm, says that they are flexible but expect minimum numbers of sales making it inflexible. Not always a safe work environment, dangerous areas late into the night - often girls on their own

Pros

I have been working with DTM Marketing for 1.5years now. Coming from a teaching background it was a complete new role for me. I love the ongoing training, mentoring and support in my current role and further training to help me progress in the company. The uncapped earnings are great for those that work hard to get the job done. The work is very rewarding, working for national clients and the ability to travel for work is always a bonus. So far I have been on working or development trips to: Tasmania, Esperance, Geraldton, Busselton, Dunsborough, Albany, Broome, Cairns and Perth. Lastly the team environment is supportive and lively. Having fun while working was a top priority for me.

Cons

Coming from a teaching background I had never worked in marketing, promotions or sales before. For the first 2 weeks I had a lot to learn and at times found it challenging. With support from my trainer and little persistence, I learnt most the skill needed.
