Cons
Starting salary is below industry standard. Annual review for raises are not given. With inflation will be loosing money every year you continue to work for DXP. Will be part of an on-call rotation schedule, given a company provided laptop and cell phone. While you are expected to answer company cell phone after normal business hours every day for the 1 week you are scheduled to be on call, DXP will only pay a $50 bonus in your next check if a order is placed while on call. The kicker is the $50 bonus will be on your next pay check but the bonus is taxed. The $50 bonus is a flat rate no matter how much time was given up after normal business hours or weekend hours. If an order is not placed you will not be compensated for the time used during your on-call schedule. DXP will require you to give up nights after 5:00pm during the week and 24 hours on Saturday & Sunday just incase the emergency afterhours on-call cell phone rings. Buyer beware, as on-call requirement may not be mentioned during the interview.
