Pros
It provided me experience into the industry, and I met some nice people there who I'll keep in contact with.
Cons
Toxic management, especially at director level.
I felt that there were many examples of blatent sexism and unprofessional conduct towards both female members of staff, and female clients (usually about looks). Unfortunately these comments usually came from the top, so they were seen as acceptable.
The sexism ran deeper than condescending comments, too, as there was a clear favourism in both pay, attitude, and working responsibilities towards the men in the company.
The senior leadership/top level of the company were more focussed on their public image and posting, than actually making effective change and listening to feedback. in fact, feedback towards management, or complaints, were often treated as staff being 'ungrateful' and 'conspiring', even recently.
Management are also very clique-y with eachother, and this is apparent in what some of the senior members of staff are able to say and how they talk to others without punishment.
Overall, when joining, I expected a more professional, mature and modern working environment, as is the persona they project online. But I found the opposite. I was also really surprised when joining about some of the things said about past employees.
There appeared to be quite a lot of times were misleading clients was expected and encouraged, which was against the companies publicly posted values.
