Pros
The directors and manager within the nurse navigation department are wonderful and love their jobs. They truly genuinely care about each of their team members. Most of the providers truly appreciate the nurse navigators at the institute. I feel like a valued member of the care team.
Cons
We are a part of the nurses union, which does help us have great pay and benefits, which are a PRO! However due to the union we cannot get bonuses in compensation for quality of work. Also a con is I feel the hospital as a whole cares more about profit than patient care sometimes.
