      Pros

      You get to help children in the Foster Care system. The pro's of this job did not match the cons. I do not think working as a family services counselor and or foster care case manager is worth the time, effort or psychological stress of working especially with the benefits and pay being so low.

      Cons

      Unrealistic expatiations, low pay for a high work load(paid less than a high school teacher but asked to do more work under psychological stress). Daniel Memorial has a high turn over rate and treat employees as a human resource.

      Great company culture that really cares about the employees. Best environment that I have ever worked in.

      They are a non-profit, so the pay isn't necessarily high.

      Family type environment; management really cares about employees; excellent benefits

      It is a non-profit, so pay can be a tad lower but they make up for it with culture and employee benefits
