Impactful work with flexible remote setup, but few offsites - Manager Dash.fi Employee Review

Pros

One of the best things about Dash.fi is how much room there is to actually make an impact. As a fast-growing company, the work you do moves the needle in a visible way — it's not the kind of place where decisions disappear into a void. The remote setup is genuinely flexible and trusts you to manage your time, which has made a real difference in how I work. The pace is fast but it's the good kind of fast: you're building something, not just spinning.

Cons

Being fully remote is great, but the trade-off is we don't get together in person as often as I'd like. A few more offsites a year would go a long way for connection and cross-team relationships. Some teams are also running pretty lean right now, which can stretch people thin during peak periods.

Pros

The pay is decent and remote work

Cons

Although the pay is decent the company is a mess. Every other week they are being out the “best in class” product that isn’t even useable. Most of the time the customers don’t get their rewards, the dash.fi card often gets declined and the product is going no where. Management is terrible. I’ve never been so micromanaged in my life. 5 calls and about 3.5hrs of my day where spent getting a check in call to see what I was doing. The VP of Shipping sales was recorded saying how badly his team “sucks” and how if he wanted to he could out sell anyone on the team but he definitely didn’t want to put his money where his mouth was. Lastly, all these 5 star reviews popped up after dozens of reps were laid off. Knowing the CEO it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if the reps who got to stay where compensated to write a Glassdoor review.
