Pros

Some very good, bright people working for the company, who are passionate about delivering good service. There is some great training available in house some good social events.

Cons

The CEO has no idea what is happening within his own company, we have multiple whole company meetings which he tried to explain what is happening, but there is often multiple follow up meetings to try explain what Robert Steiner is trying say, he has terrible communication skills and no real understanding of the products his company has to offer

Thank you for taking the time to share your views. As a company, we value everyone's opinion, as it helps us to grow and improve. Whilst we are disappointed to read your views about our CEO, we'd encourage you to reach out to him direct to share your concerns. Robert's door is always open and you will find that this is something he genuinely welcomes. You might have a different view once you speak to him, and realise how much he understands about what is happening in the business, our products and services. It's not easy to get internal communication right. We are always listening to our people and looking at ways to improve. We run one company meeting and one open Q&A session per month. We'd encourage you to contribute to those sessions, either by speaking at the meeting or submitting your questions anonymously in advance.

Pros

Some talented and friendly colleagues who carried the business. Decent work/life balance.

Cons

As other reviews have indicated, management is a bloody mess. Senior management have no coherent strategic vision, resulted in multiple 180 decisions. Constant revolving door at the very top. Toxic culture resulting in politics, infighting and backstabbing as teams rally to protect themselves from blame. Witnessed horrible micromanagement by one senior manager. Another senior manager had no interest in their reports whatsoever. Owners of the business completely disinterested and uninvolved in their own business. Not surprisingly, most of the talented individuals have left the business.

We are glad you recognise the wonderful people who work at Data Interchange. We have had some talented people leave recently, and we are really pleased we were able to help them develop their careers. However, we still have over 100 amazing people, working in 4 different countries, driving the business forward with many more talented people joining us in 2021. The business has a consistent strategic vision. We have made some adjustments to how we actively deliver our strategic vision over the past couple of years in response to the challenging times faced across the world over the last two years. We acknowledge that in some cases this might have felt like "180 decisions" have been made, however, the Leadership Team have always made any decisions to adjust the course we are taking with the best interests of the business and our people at the heart. It has been a challenging time for us all, particularly our managers and some of our teams. We are working hard to provide training and support to our management teams to be the best they can be. The owners of the business made the decision to take a step back from actively running the business over two years ago. They entrusted the skills, experience and knowledge of the Leadership Team to run the business and care for our people,
