Pros
The merger will be great in the future, I can imagine. Loop has a lot of great tools that D2L does not have, and vice versa. I thrive with challenges, and everything lately is a challenge.
Cons
They do not invest time in their employees. With the recent merger upper management has been dropping left and right. Consistent feeling of “will I have my job” week after week. High performers are expected to be overworked and under paid, while low performers are left to continue on the same path. Always overloading, never hiring on people that will care for their job, or stay long enough to give any reprieve to the whole team. I feel like every week is a constant change, as is to be expected with any merging of companies, but it’s flip-floppy.
