Pros

Remote work with solid pay. You work on your own schedule and log your own time spent on projects so it's very flexible. More tasks are offered if you show that you produce good work. It's great if you are looking to supplement your income or if you are looking for something flexible while transitioning between roles.

Cons

Inconsistent. There are days when you can work over 8 hours if you want to and days you couldn't work more than 1 hour even if you tried. No opportunity to grow as you are not a true employee of the company.

Pros

Easy to get set up and work through the "entrance tests", and fairly easy to earn through your first project. The pay per project is OK (in THEORY), but in practice it can be difficult to make real money (see cons).

Cons

My experienced was, unless you have expertise in a very in-demand area like STEM, multilingual, or teaching, the available projects quickly dry up. They then encourage you to "take more qualification tests to see more projects." However, after the tests are taken, no indication is given as to the results and at times nothing more shows up in projects. In the end it can be a random, and disorienting process.
