Pros

This company is changing the way information moves. Social media is only the first step. We are connecting the people who want to share to the people who need to know. With the pace at which Dataminr is growing, you can fill any gap you see. Every one's ideas are heard and considered. Dataminr understands the value of the brain power it has at its disposal. There's a lot of work to be done. This is a place for self-starters who want to build something meaningful.

Cons

Some times being at such a new company that is forging the way in totally uncharted waters can be unsettling. Keeping our spirits up can be tough under some circumstances. Dataminr also doesn't have clear ladders up to new positions. You need to be willing to be flexible and try new things if you want to climb here.

Pros

* Differentiated technology platform with real-time intelligence capabilities, particularly in the physical security and threat detection space

Cons

* Frequent leadership changes have made it difficult to maintain consistent strategic direction * Company initiatives often reset before prior efforts fully mature, creating execution gaps * Senior leadership structure can feel top-heavy, which at times slows decision-making and accountability * Market positioning in cybersecurity may not be as strong or clearly differentiated as competitors * Organizational changes have led to disruption and uncertainty for employees during transition periods * In some cases, expectations during the hiring process did not fully align with the day-to-day reality of the role * Strategic messaging is strong, but execution and follow-through can lag behind stated priorities
