Pros

- really nice and friendly people : Sakes engineers, customer support, SDR and this is it - interesting product

Cons

- Toxic environment - VP micro management - last managers hired at the image of the EMEA and APAC VP : hypocrisy, quick judgment, gossip - the job is too big for the VP : no emotional intelligence , no management. Since 2 years none of the sales made the target

I am glad that you enjoyed the people and our product. We strive to create a positive environment in which our employees thrive, and I'm unhappy to learn that this was not your experience. Our employees consistently highly recommend Dataminr as a great place to work, as noted in our annual employee satisfaction survey. They also overwhelmingly say that they are proud to work for Dataminr. Similarly, questions around confidence in our leadership team also yield high scores. We always appreciate input from former employees though, and would be open to listening if you would like to reach out and share further details.

Pros

* Differentiated technology platform with real-time intelligence capabilities, particularly in the physical security and threat detection space

Cons

* Frequent leadership changes have made it difficult to maintain consistent strategic direction * Company initiatives often reset before prior efforts fully mature, creating execution gaps * Senior leadership structure can feel top-heavy, which at times slows decision-making and accountability * Market positioning in cybersecurity may not be as strong or clearly differentiated as competitors * Organizational changes have led to disruption and uncertainty for employees during transition periods * In some cases, expectations during the hiring process did not fully align with the day-to-day reality of the role * Strategic messaging is strong, but execution and follow-through can lag behind stated priorities
