Benefits and a paycheck....that's pretty much it now after 10 years of being here. They took away everything good.

I started working here 10 years ago. I left my previous job of over 10 years because of 4 benefits that this company had over regular retail... As of this week none of the 4 benefits are available anymore....the last one is gone .. the most recent they got rid of this week was they are now opening on Christmas Eve which they never have before in the history of David's bridal. This is not a regular retail environment and December is one of the slowest times of the year. WHY would you take this away from your hard working employees...the ability to spend time with their family...this was one of the last great thing about working here. TO BE HONEST there's no reason to work in this STRESSFUL environment any longer since all the good things have been stripped away that make this a bridal specialty environment....it is NO longer a specialty retail environment. Why even stay when you can make more working at McDonalds or any other retail environment. We're now Walmart for bridal. It's only going to get worse. The other managers I work with are also looking for another job.
