Pros
I like working at Davis County for lots of reasons. The people are high quality and are knowledgeable in their areas. My coworkers are the best! They are willing to help me with questions and they teach me new things. I have opportunities to grow here. I like that departments and employees work together on projects and are working to change "how it's always been done." Employees seem genuinely concerned for each other and the public they serve. Medical and retirement benefits are really good.
Cons
Some processes are antiquated and in desperate need of an update. The vacation accrual could also be better. It's half of what I got at my last job as a new employee. There is not much diversity here, but that's true for the county too.
