Pros

Pay and benefits are decent.

Cons

HEAVY sales focus, especially lately. They tell you it’s in the name of providing good service but that’s only because the law prohibits sales quotas. Everything is geared towards getting information about students to then use against them to guilt them into applying. If students didn’t fall for the tricks, DeVry would be out of business. If you drink the kool-aid, ignore all the shady procedures, and be “positive” constantly you can go far. Asking too many questions gets you ostracized and labeled negative. They always want more out of you. Hit your goal? Here’s a higher one. Time is so micromanaged, you’re expected to be constantly working. Management operates by looking at numbers on spreadsheets and finding “areas of improvement”

Pros

DeVry Day was a wonderful example of our positive culture, meaningful work, and commitment to making a difference. Welcoming and congratulating graduates allowed me to celebrate their achievements firsthand and witness the impact of the support and resources DeVry provides throughout their educational journey. The event created a sense of community, recognition, and pride that reflected our dedication to student success. Seeing graduates and their families celebrate this milestone reinforced how our work contributes to helping students achieve their goals and create better futures for themselves

Cons

This event was nothing but spectacular!

Pros

Work from home, good benefits, paid time off & the pay.

Cons

They say it’s not a KPI based position but it is. They will not give commission because they say we should be in it for the students and not numbers but the position is solely based on numbers. This is not a warm, team friendly position. Even your team mates are in competition with you. You will work two Saturdays out of the month and sometimes even Sundays and they still won’t be satisfied with your work ethic.
