Loved the clients- they were some of the nicest and most interesting I've cared for. The work was meaningful, and easy to learn to do. Some co-workers were really pleasant to work with.

PAPER CHARTING - It made the workflow very slow, and time consuming to complete. Management - Not very supportive, Micro-managers that do not offer any praise, only criticism. Never felt that I was doing the work correctly. Only feedback received was when you made an error, which was usually due to lack of communication or training on their part. The benefits were EXPENSIVE- For just medical coverage for a family- OVER $700/month- very few paid holidays, or PTO given. Not able to work within full scoop of practice - often scolded for doing anything besides putting meds in a cup.

Very easy job, free dinner

Low pay, not a good place to grow or learn in your career. CNAs and RSAs do room checks and keep track of residents, clean rooms , help serve meals, mop floors and tables. that's it. They care only about the nurses and not any concerns of CNAs or lower staff employees. Every meeting complaints is always about the CNAs and no other subject. No real incentives and benefits for CNAs.
