Pros

Unfortunately none, unless you like to work for free and to be yelled at.

Cons

This company lies to it's client's outright. They commit fraud by lying to clients and charging a bogus fees to pocket thousands of dollars. They are verbally abusive to their female designers and lie to the clients on multiple levels, not just about fake charges, thusly are horrible people and are an embarrassment to the entire industry. Do not associate yourself with this disgraceful company, unless you like be spoken down to and not paid.

Pros

The team is great to work with. When first starting everyone was so welcoming and willing to help me to understand the business model and the complexities of the interior design industry. I worked closely with Markus, one of the founders, who despite having a crazy busy schedule was always willing to answer my questions. Markus was always open to any of my ideas and actually encouraged me to explore new practices and strategies. Also, the work was interesting and it's a great industry to be a part of. There was definitely open conversation between myself and the designers as well as the founders. One of the most telling things about a company (I think), is how they handle an employees departure. Both Sean and Markus took the time to meet with me and discuss my reasons for leaving. They were so gracious and understanding that it made the decision of the leaving that much more difficult. So many other employers are curt and rude when hearing that an employee is leaving but that was not at all the case with Decor Aid. It really is telling about a company.

Cons

The long hours were probably the one con that I experienced.
