Pros

Close to my house Safe office AI aspects are interesting

Cons

The founders are married and so you have two bosses neither of whom have any leadership experience or capability So much time is wasted on doing everything yourself instead of hiring. It slows development down

Pros

The company is coming out of challenging times, with happy customers with a lot of demand.

Cons

Demand for some of the products is spotty, which puts a lot of pressure on manufacturing team at times beyond our capacity. The team really steps in and supports with the shortage of resources.

Pros

If you like fast pacing with zero structure, you will never be bored.

Cons

Most of the stress here starts at the top and just trickles down. Leadership makes snap decisions, changes course midstream, and then looks around for someone to blame when things fall apart. The owner wants full control but disappears when it's time to deal with the mess. It creates a constant sense of confusion where no one is ever sure what the real priority is. Feedback mostly comes in the form of criticism, not guidance. You're expected to figure things out on your own, then get scolded for not reading minds. There's zero empathy for how exhausting that gets, and it slowly wears people down. Morale stays low because nothing you do ever seems good enough. Everything runs in panic mode. Temporary fixes are treated like long term plans, and the same problems keep resurfacing because no one wants to slow down and actually fix them. Leadership keeps pushing the idea that this chaos is just growth, but it feels more like damage control on repeat. By the time you realize how bad it is, most of the good people are already gone. The atmosphere turns tense, trust disappears, and burnout becomes the norm. If you're looking for support or stability, you won't find it here, and you're better off walking away early.
