Pros
State of the art and clean facility, leader in the industry, great people work there
Cons
Decision makers reside out of state, poor communication between upper management and the rest of the staff, forced to be in-office inexplicably, bringing your pets into the office is only a privilege afforded to some.
I was pushed hard to put in my two weeks the same day I was offered the position, only to be let go on the morning of my third day due to "the financial situation with the company" and that they "couldn't afford to keep [me]" and that I "did nothing wrong." This resulted in me losing income and health insurance, it upended my life. This was delivered to me on a Monday morning after my boss hadn't been there for my first two days of employment. I am left wondering if she knew ahead of time and simply chose to let me leave a job where I had 7 years of tenure because she was on vacation or if this is truly a harmful level of poor communication from the executive team. Both options are offensively inconsiderate. I was given only a two weeks severance and not paid for the hour I worked that Monday. I've never been treated like this before and regret taking a risk for a new opportunity on this well established and globally known local business.
