Pros

Endless amount of referrals, so far. Good benefits. Coworkers are great. Shared files for continuing education and clinical tools are great. They value therapist education and provided free trainings and clinical supervision. Some therapists are seasoned here with lots of experience, and some are fresh graduates with no experience.

Cons

Major changes have occurred, Justin Bayless is no longer CEO and it's been sold to Magellan, who Centene now owns. Im considering leaving because: When clients No Show or late cancel, YOU DONT GET PAID. They will then put you on an Action Plan if you are not completing 25 sessions a week. Then they punish you and require you to counsel 30 to 32 a week to get off your "Action Plan". When all your clients do show up, you get $30 an hour for an LAC and $35 as an LPC. In addition, they are now requiring you to do depression and anxiety screeners at almost every single session, but will only pay ONE Clinician a day for it. So, if your client did Marriage Counseling with one therapist, and on the same day did Individual therapy with another therapist, only one Therapist gets paid for the time they took to do the assessment. The Clinicians at Bayless are NOT happy with this change. 75% of your therapy clients will be on Medicaid and Medicare at Bayless and these are common frustrations I imagine at some other agencies too?
