Pros

I have never seen another company so committed to finding trustworthy, hard working, career-minded individuals and then putting in the time and money to train them the right way. They interview hundreds of people to every single person hired, which means you truly work with the best of the best. You get to know the senior level people in corporate on a first name basis, and they even give you their cell number. There was not a single week where I worried about making a good paycheck at this job. If you are nervous about a job that is on a commission scale, then you probably don't have the right personality to excel in the environment anyway. I took home about $1,200 a week, and in three years there might have been twice when I had to settle for the minimum wage pay, and it was always because of a customer return. I loved how with my days off being during the normal work week, stores were empty and driving around the city yielded no traffic. If you want FAST upward mobility and a great culture, this is the place. It was one of the hardest things I had to do to step away from this company!

Cons

You have to relocate to promote, load customers in the blazing sun or rain while wearing a tie and slacks, and customers have way, way, way too long to return their product, but I will stick to the one biggest reason this company has employees quit: The hours. If you are single, you couldn't ask for a better job. If you have a spouse/family, you have to be the type of couple that doesn't need very much time together to be happy. If your spouse is of the majority that works a M-F scheduled job, you have to understand that you will literally never have a day off together, excluding Christmas Day, Thanksgiving and Easter. That's it. Every other holiday you actually work more, which means you lose a day off that week, not to mention special sales they do every month which once again takes one of your days off. And if you are a manager or assistant manager, there will be a total of a minimum of four weeks a year where you work open to close Monday-Sunday, which equals about a 75 hour work week. You add this to your schedule from the previous week, and it is normally 12 days in a row you have worked without a day off, potentially more. This means every customer complaint, follow up, and problem for nearly two weeks falls on yours and only yours shoulders. That is VERY stressful. I was top 15 in sales in the entire company when, ultimately, I decided life was too short to add to the dozens of birthdays, family get togethers, births, illnesses, etc of which I had missed every single one of for years. Your family gets used to planning things and knowing you won't be there, and that's hard.
