As an employer, DS is going to fail if it doesn’t adapt. Giving both basement pay and bare minimum PTO structures is a recipe for turnover and bad hires. Like many higher Ed institutes, it’s slow moving and resistant to the bold strokes necessary to move into the future. 2% raises during historic inflation is giving active pay cuts to your staff each year.
