Pros

Higher salary than elsewhere, pastries on a Friday, some colleagues are genuinely lovely and there for you when times get tough

Cons

Management make this place hell, there is a severe communication issue which results in lower level office workers constantly wiping up after the managers who won’t tell you relevant information to perform your job properly until the very last minute. Pair this with directors who treat their staff and that of other teams like a piece of excrement on their shoe with no understanding that it is management causing delays, and you’re better off avoiding this place. Feedback on this and other matters is simply brushed under the carpet. Everyone is so busy and stressed which has a domino effect on the whole office. You cannot physically accomplish your job role in the work day so expect to be working extra hours very often. Benefits outside of salary are pretty terrible, nothing of any use. This place pays but puts you in a gilded cage.

Pros

Competitive salary and a strong pension scheme. It is a great multicultural environment with manageable pressure for individual contributors. There are clear growth opportunities for those looking to build a long-term career, especially for those who prioritize internal networking, building strong personal rapport with leadership, and showing deep alignment with the local Irish corporate culture.

Cons

Some PMs can become overwhelmed, which affects communication and transparency across teams. The benefits package could be better, particularly regarding the lack of remote work flexibility for engineers. Additionally, there is a heavy emphasis on "time served" for leadership roles; while this rewards loyalty, management styles are often based on internal history rather than formal management training or academic backgrounds.
