Pros
* - different level of work ethic depending upon how close you are to management. for example - come to office at 12 with a hangover , leave for smoke / juice / gossip break with your buddies at 1245 , take a lunch break at 2 and get drunk again & then go home to work from home. next day dont come at all - work from home , take care of your part time job and business while taking full time salary and benefits from the company . few others - just gossip the day away and then stay back after work hours to demonstrate how hard they work. **on the other hand if you are non asian & hourly employee you are expected to be a obey the orders & kneel to the CEO and others of the tribe . you are living from one paycheck to another and will be thrown out without any reason or notice. ***for anyone seeking a job or newly joined - ' don't rock the boat, don't question the antics of management or those who are close to management, don't question why or offer an opinion or suggestion' - stay low, keep your head down and do your work and keep working on plan B . ***** you don't know when this company will wrap up operations and decide to move.
Cons
*backstabbing even among top management. **lack of trust between employees and management. employees are considered disposable. ***lack of sense of ownership in non asian employees - which is not employee's fault but due to poor management, racism etc at the top. *****at least one of the top executives privately mentioned that the company only wants asians to work - it gives them a sense of control . ******all this talk about diversity and employee satisfaction surveys are for sake of it & just to scratch each other's back.
