Pros
Competitive pay, cheap insurance, decent other benefits (for retail), most associates and managers are good coworkers, Union enviornment. Sky is the limit if you work hard and work on yourself.
Cons
New people get stuck on the bottom tier insurance, Pay is decent for retail but doesn’t match the level of work required as you get promoted. Vacation accrual takes a long time. Union is a pro and con because they are much weaker than they used to be. Internal company politics and decision making can be annoying. Less than larger companies but no less frustrating at times.
