Pros
- Supportive and skilled engineering team with approachable seniors who are always ready to help. - Work-life balance depends on the project some may bring pressure and a bit of imbalance. - Free meals are provided, though the quality could be improved. - Certain roles come with the flexibility of working from home. - Flexible timings—no strict punch-in or punch-out rules, which makes the environment more relaxed
Cons
- The product is highly buggy and unstable—fixing one issue often breaks something else. The team should place greater emphasis on automation. - Priority should be given to refactoring and improving legacy code rather than stacking new features on a weak foundation. (No matter how many floors you add, a shaky base won’t hold 🙂) - There are far too many temporary patch fixes instead of implementing permanent solutions. - Leadership is poor and lacks clear direction. They claim to avoid random customer requests but continue to entertain them. - The former CTO was technically strong but lacked integrity and sound decision-making, often relying on trial-and-error, wasting time and resources on unnecessary meetings, and forming ineffective teams. The effectiveness of the new leadership remains uncertain. - hikes are pennies, and promotion are nothing but more work for same pay
