Pros

Great on-job experience, multi-tasking environment.Opportunity to act in all levels and all areas at the same time. Work together and inside of all airlines in the world at the same time. Personal growth through self learning. Chalenging situations to increase your flexibility and quick response skill.

Cons

Absurdly high rotation of staff. Nepotism is part of the culture. Cluster of nationalities. Informal appreciation and retaining course certification as a mean to retain staff. Neophobic business culture. Monopoly of ground handling in the country. Constant shortage of staff. Favouritism for arab speakers that receive an additional payment for speaking their native language while other multilingual staff don't avail the same benefit. Staff hired for higher salaries than their own supervisors showing a patent incapacity to attract talent. Difficulty to place the right talents in the right places. People skilled do unskilled jobs and unskilled management use their results to self promote hiding the merit of their subordinates to the point of copying and pasting their emails. Incapacity to honor the work contracts and changing rules to benefit the company which allegedly make the former contracts void. Lack of notion of hierarchy. Constant interference of management on departments they not concern to. Inexistence of transparency, audit department, disrespect to international safety regulations.Lack of strategic planning.Constant change of the poorly planned strategies to the point of generating waste of revenue. Low staff morale. Managers are aloof of the frontline basic job descriptions and functions and away from the frontline.

Pros

Theres no pros to working here. Literally not one.

Cons

Where do I start? First, whoever does the hiring sells you a dream and how it’s such a great place to work and of course I know working isn’t supposed to be fun and you’ll enjoy it, but it should at least be bearable. At this company it’s not. They overwork you and underpay you severely. The GM would even tell you to do work that’s completely unrelated to your dept. HR is deplorable. I had to interview with a director of HR, and he was sitting in his backyard, feet plopped up on his table, leaning back, and conducting an interview. He couldn’t even answer my questions clearly. The GM was decent but that whole company is just awful. The benefits are horrible, HR always has an attitude and it’s just not an ideal place to work. Only accept this job to build up your experience and get out.
