Pros
Flexible scheduling, regular guests that love us, decent pay for the type of job it is.
Cons
No leadership. Our store only has an ASL and has been very slow to hire a SL. The ASL receives little support from home office. Understaffed at times, regularly cannot get off your register at the end of your shift because next shift is almost always late and nothing is ever done about it. Store is rundown, dirty and falling apart and home office does nothing about it. Home office will regularly watch the merchandiser on camera and call to tell us to build back up to par. This is frustrating because they can clearly see that we are cooking as much and as fast as we can and are still having to run registers while trying to fill the merchandiser. Very little time for side work. Wash, rinse, repeat mentality. For example, 1st shift won’t cut jojos or fill the cooler so 2nd won’t do it either and then 3rd shift follows suit. Numerous customers complain about the loud, lewd rap music playing on the overhead, customers report team members in the back parking lot smoking weed, Only a few of us willing to do the work of all of us. If it wasn’t a fun job, I’d have already been gone!
