Interview conversations for all opportunities at DoiT focus solely on the job responsibilities and competencies needed to excel in the position. Our goal is to find the best possible mutual fit for everyone as we scale our team. Political affiliation, while not a protected class, is not something we discuss at all with candidates during interviews. But political, social and cultural differences do exist in the world, and any employees that choose to engage with each other on these topics are expected to be able to accept differences, respect one another, listen, and learn as part of participating in healthy discussions or debates.
Our core values, policies and practices reinforce our deep commitment to equality, respect, honesty, integrity and open communication across all the people, countries and cultures that make up our incredible global team. That approach is non-negotiable, and it extends to our team, candidates and customers alike.
The safety and well-being of our employees across the world has always and will always be a top priority a DoiT. Any Do’er with questions or concerns about our policies, practices, or potential violations report is strongly encouraged to reach out their manager, a member of our executive team, myself or another member of our HR Team, or use go/saysomething to submit a confidential report as soon as possible. Although infrequent, all reports of any violations of our code of conduct or other policies are investigated quickly and thoroughly, with clearly defined disciplinary practices and consequences for determined violations.
Investigations are kept as confidential as possible out of respect for all involved, but our goal is always to do right by our team and stay true to our guiding principles. I’m confident that our actions and decisions reflect that and while I’m sorry you’re frustrated, it seems like you’ve received some incorrect information and I would really appreciate the opportunity to have a one on one conversation with you if you’re open to it. Please reach out to me at Kristen@DoiT.com so we can talk more.
