      Pros

      Benefits package is better than average

      Cons

      Company does not empower employees but instead micromanages them and completely misses the bigger picture. Smart people do not thrive in this organization but people with no common sense do. Billionaire owner is paranoid people are trying to steal from the company and invents processes to stop them doing their job properly. CEO has no power and many of the senior management don’t report to him they report to the owner. They treat suppliers and customers poorly, always pay them late and try to renegotiate deals after they were agreed.

      Pros

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      Cons

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
