Pros

The pay is decent, but they overwork you so much that it's not even worth it. I would take a lesser paying job just for peace.

Cons

The most toxic company that I have ever worked for. I haven't even been here a year and I've already lost count at the amount of people that I know that have either left, gotten fired, or just gone on leave. It's so often that people barely blink an eye when you get told that one of your coworkers is no longer at DoorDash--it's just expected. They make us take these quarterly employee surveys and one of the main questions is "how long do you intend to stay at DoorDash?". I think that should tell you everything you need to know. Absolute worst culture because there is no culture beyond everybody burning themselves out and behaving like corporate robots.

Pros

You make tips and get to shop at a lot of stores. More areas are open for delivery. You don't go far and have specific zones, like cities, you stay in usually. They give you a special tier of being a Dasher when you're doing the best deliveries, they're called tiers from silver to gold to platinum. Platinum gives you the dash now button allowing you to dash whenever.

Cons

Sometimes the delivery will get marked as if you didn't deliver the item and it gets put on you. There's sometimes drastic waits between orders. The restaurant may be closed or out of the thing the customer ordered. You can't decline order or else the acceptance rating goes down and you'll lose the certain requirements to be a higher tier driver.
