Pros
Opportunity to work with a diverse group of interesting and appreciative clients. Ability to make a difference by helping people achieve their career goals. Overall Consultants are a dedicated and hard-working group who genuinely enjoy career coaching.
Cons
The company is continually cost-cutting. It is virtually impossible to make a living despite high client loads. In order to deliver the programs that companies have purchased, Consultants must use their own time as they are paid literally pennies on the dollar of total program costs. Additionally there are no benefits or perks: no paid vacation, benefits, performance reviews or positive feedback. Consultants have no chance to meet with peers and most have never met the senior management of the organization. There is absolutely no relationship between senior management and the front-line Consultants who deliver all programs.
