Pros
The DuMont Project has some of the most talented and dedicated people I've ever met. They are truly experts in their field, over-achievers, and the best of the best. The talent is impressive but the best part is that they are open-minded, accepting and supportive of each other. The DuMont Project has an impressive list of clients, is in a great location, and has some great office perks.
Cons
Unfortunately, all of this dedicated and generous talent is wasted in an environment that stifles growth. The DuMont Project suffers from a number of problems all stemming from poor upper management, specifically the Owner and CEO. Extreme micro management, criticism of work in front of clients and colleagues, and reading employees emails are all regular behaviors of the CEO to her employees at every level. Beyond the emotional toll this takes on the talent, the business suffers as well. The ego of the CEO drives all decisions and takes precedence over client's needs, efficiencies in the business, and growth of the company.
