The overall environment is very positive. There is enough freedom for people with a lot of drive to do well but not feel micromanaged.

That freedom comes with responsibility. I don't see this as a con, but if you're someone who just wants to tackle well-documented processes, this isn't the company for you.

Flexible leave policy, decent compensation, end of year holiday week, lots of AI tool access.

Next to zero on-boarding procedure. Terrible cross-org communication. Absent incident management process or ownership. Bad security hygiene. Some teams that don't even understand how their applications are served. Out of control spending and no grasp of inventory in the cloud. Abandoning all principles to pursue using CTO's bespoke AI methodologies without considering what tangible customer goals actually are.
