Pros
Tips, lots of people available to cover shift, options to become a shift leader quick, shifts usually are 5, 6, or 8 hrs, 50% off food on break, free donut and coffee refill on break, so fast paced shift goes by fast, burn lots of calories, sometimes bring free foid home on holidays when closing early, get free tshirts to wear on weekends once in awhile, get to know your regulars, management flexible with days off/needing to make changes to your schedule/helping you find a replacement, get Dunkin Dollars for doing good things that give you paid days off or gas cards.
Cons
Standing on feet for too long, very short break, slow increase in salary, tips only start after training, need to be able to work all positions and can be overwhelming at first to remember everything, some drinks are complicated, can't leave floor until everything is stocked and cleaned and that means you're sometimes staying over 30 minutes, headsets hurt head and ears, you become a coffee drinker, eat donuts, they sometimes miss your break, carpal tunnel in wrists from being a cashier and drink making, very fast paced, don't close until 2pm on all holidays now except Christmas, uniform is plain and have to wear hair in bun/ no ponytails, smile so much for customers your face hurts, costumers who haven't had their coffee yet can be grouchy, we're currently in the middle of streamlining our menu and some customers are upset we got rid of things.
