Pros
Culturally very strong, and managed with integrity and thought to the long term I found Dymon a genuine career home-base for first-rate investment professionals. The business has been on a steep growth and steeper performance curve, but I'd expect ongoing up-side to prospects and assets under management.
Cons
Dymon's partners created one of the more prominent Asian macro funds - among a suite of fund offerings. The macro fund has repeatedly been in the top-ten of larger funds, and prides itself on solid double digit return aspirations. If you're a lower-vol - lower-return manager the performance expectations need to be well considered. Is this a con? No - more a reality that needs due thought.
