Pros

flexible work hours, good collaboration cross teams, high level of independence, easy to start anything, volunteer day, possibility to push for geting involved, hackathon days, hack days, relaxed environment, billiards, free sodas

Cons

bad coffee beans, management involvement is reactive only when issues are escalated multiple times e.g. via peakon feedback; the company has more focus on building hype internally; no transparency in decision making process; some teams work overtime even during company events; chaotic communication across teams and departments; difficult to follow business value in what is being done; most of the work is maintenance; technical acument in the team is below expectations, missing constructive technical discussions within the team; architectural decisions are missing within the team; work in the team is being done without perspective of reusability

Pros

- Lunch is good in VISMAHouse - Some people are very friendly - VISMAS rules on parental leave are very generous

Cons

Product dept has very poor leadership - lack of vision, lack of strategy, inexperienced top managers that have never run an organisation before. Every quarter there is a reorg and the people that management dont like (maybe they are too critical, too honest or just a bit annoying in their view) are fired on the spot. The company will then try and re-hire the same position and the whole process repeats. Career advancement in e-conomic is more about how good you are at dodging politics and being friends with management, rather than the quality of any work you produce. The product reflects this (ask anyone you know what they think of e-conomic product).
