Pros

at EBC you will learn Chinese culture if you are not familiar, they have it's office politics, rumours behind your back, lying all the time when they open their mouth, so all in best traditions.

Cons

They present themsleves as a company with a core value of trust, but me and my whole team eyewitnesses how their senior management lied right in the meeting saying the black is white only because their boss said so, and if you disagree with this giving facts and arguments they will just silent you with their quantity of people who agrees to everything that their boss told them. Doesn't matter if you are 5 people trying to say a lie about 1 person, the lie is still a lie, doesn't matter that 5 of you support this. It just makes you 5 liars. And honestly, I never worked for a company where senior management will be that dishonest and not afraid of ruining reputation in front of the whole team. Some Senior management will join the meetings just to mark their presence. Literally, there was a retrospective of the previous release and the head of IT who has never been involved in development and has no idea of what it is about, joined the meeting to support the crowd, with 0 understanding of the topic he would just do exactly as he was told. Overall, they would not be embarrassed to do anything if that's the boss direction and even if it's wrong. They post a lot about their sophisticated analytics tools, but as a matter of fact they still calculate all the commissions manually, using excel spreadsheet, it takes them very long time and sometimes their calculation is not accurate, but the boss is happy bc they work long hours and always online. SO, I would say they just stuck somewhere in last century. On one of our meetings one of the management members started estimating how long it will take him to copypaste 12 thousands lines (this is not a joke), that is what their management is doing - copypasting 24/7, but as long as they keep themselves busy - everyone is happy. This inefficient use of resources is encouraged in the company. The same way they can't do their primary responsibilities, like signing a contract with psp provider seems obvious simple procedure, but for the very same manager it takes longer than a year to complete so as they are busy copypasting. Besides, in the chaos with no organisational structure and clear job descriptions, people just do random things there, so this style is encouraged and you wouldn't want to disagree with it bc it's what boss wants.

Pros

got cater food on certain public hol, some colleagues can be nice, i got unlimited GP clinic from MyMED, strict 10-7 onsite

Cons

The environment is heavily political, with frequent leadership changes and unclear direction. Many key aspects of work — including approvals, access to systems, project ownership, performance ratings, and bonuses — appear to be tightly controlled by a small group of decision-makers. In practice, this can make advancement feel dependent on alignment with current leadership rather than consistent, merit-based performance. Turnover and restructuring are constant. New managers and replacement hires come in every few months, making it difficult to maintain continuity or execute long-term plans. Teams are often rebuilt before previous initiatives have a chance to deliver results. There are also significant capability gaps in certain functions, particularly marketing. A large portion of the team appears to lack relevant experience or domain knowledge, which leads to unclear strategies, rework, and output that does not align with business needs. This raises questions about hiring standards and role fit. Performance management can feel disconnected from actual impact. KPIs are not always clearly defined or tied to meaningful outcomes, and may be adjusted or interpreted in ways that reflect internal politics more than measurable results. This creates confusion and reduces accountability. Culturally, there is a noticeable gap between stated expectations and day-to-day reality. Transparency is limited, and decision-making is not always communicated clearly. Combined with the frequent changes in leadership, this creates an environment where priorities shift quickly and employees are left navigating uncertainty. Thats the glassdoors content safe version. I cant speak the real truth. Finally, the place has more in common with soap n water than what you got told iykyk. Im giving a star so they dont take down but its rlly zero...
