Pros

Great place to build skills and gain experience. Fantastic, hard-working colleagues who really care about the work.

Cons

Salaries have barely changed in over 10 years. Staff and drastically underpaid & salaries are below the industry standard. Appears to be little willingness to tackle this & high staff turnover seems to be the preferred option. Senior management is failing to manage volume of work while also micromanaging certain projects leading to delays in decision making and unnecessarily tight deadlines. Being informed of a deadline with 24hours notice and having to work late was a common occurrence.

Pros

I really enjoyed my time there. Everything was very organized, and well done. The people there are warm and fun to be around, a lot of internationals so you get to learn a lot about other places. The kids were so fun to be around and I generally loved the days and what we taught them.

Cons

Even if there was a hitch, Lucy (my manager) was so organized that things didn't fall apart. Everyone handled things so well, even on bad days, so I wouldn't really say there were any cons to speak of during my time with eco unesco.
