Pros

ECS will promote you if it is to their benefit. Long term employment available if you are liked well enough and take on more work than hired to do. Casual work environment.

Cons

Does not allow non paid time off if run out of your 12 days a year of accrued of PTO. The pay is mediocre. No cost of living raises this year. Raises given to 'favorite' employees - all upper management staff, not lower level employees, given by upper management, based on favoritism not on merit & hard work. Lots of office politics. Support staff often left out of free lunches given to engineering/technician staff. Some of the upper management are rude and act better than everyone else, play "favorites" a lot - see their favorites get pay raises, extra time off, etc. Chaotic at times. Stressful. Likes to put a lot work onto 1 person expecting them to the job of 2 to 3 people without extra pay/praise. Expects more from an employee year after year without extra pay or benefits. Often promotions are given to people outside the company or new hires. New hires often treated better than those who have been there half a decade or more.

Pros

Always Hiring as people leave eventually

Cons

Working at this company was an overwhelmingly negative experience. The work environment was toxic, with disorganized and unapproachable leadership that fostered fear instead of collaboration. Management lacked basic leadership skills, frequently micromanaging, playing favorites, and avoiding accountability. There was absolutely no work-life balance, employees were expected to work long hours, including nights and weekends, with little notice. Compensation was way below industry standards, and there were no meaningful opportunities for growth or development. Company communication was poor, and major decisions were made without transparency, leaving employees confused and demoralized. Overall, it was a frustrating and draining place to work, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
