Great work environment, good pay

No longer open due to sale of property

Nothing at all. Not even the food.

So many issues. For one, they clearly view employees as disposable. Everything about their procedures feels cheap and rushed. Financially very messy. The pay was low and inconsistent. Checks will come on a Thursday and the boss will beg you not to deposit until Friday... That sort of thing. At the Cookbook location, they refused to tell employees any details about the closing and then POOF one day everyone was without income. At the end of it all, two employees received hot checks. Literally illegal. Not to mention, they did not send out W2s at the end of the year which is the LEAST they could do. These sorts of nightmare stories exist at every WIP location. Save yourself some stress, don't work here. As for the actual personalities of management? Awful, tacky people who talk about you behind your back and will do just about anything to make clear how little you matter. The CEO Scott Hentschel would come into the shop without a real greeting, order his coffee, and NEVER leave a tip, not even a smile like come on. So SO weird! Avoid these restaurants if possible - 24 Diner, Irene's, Easy Tiger, The Pitch, etc. I PROMISE you can find better.
